Barack Obama Wins The US Presidency!

Yes, the America's did it! Senator Barack Obama, by most projections, has successfully won the 2008 Presidential campaign and has been elected as the 44th President of the United States of America. I gotta tell ya, and this his the God’s honest truth, I never imagined that the US would elect an African American President in my lifetime. I cannot express … truly … cannot express the immense sense of pride and genuine happiness that Senator Barack Obama has won the White House:

CNN projects that Barack Obama will be the nation’s 44th president. As polls closed on the West coast, the Illinois senator was projected to receive enough electoral votes to pass the 270-vote threshold. Obama is projected to win California, Washington, Oregon and Hawaii. He also is projected to win Virginia, a state that hasn’t voted for a Democratic president since 1964. As Obama built up a commanding lead over Sen. John McCain, senior aides to the Arizona senator were growing pessimistic about his chances. When asked if they saw a path to victory, two senior McCain aides said no.

A few times over the past few weeks I’ve let myself wonder what it would be like to have the Obamas as the First Family and … it’s an amazingly exciting thing to look forward to now. Michelle Obama, as David likes to say, will be the new Jackie O. But the real winner here is America. America have finally decided, as a Nation, to move beyond racial bounds and elect the right person to lead our Country thru these perilous times. I’m literally swelling with pride and happiness. Much love and congrats go out to President-elect Barack Obama! You’ve got a lot of work ahead of you … but I’m confident that you’ll be able to lead our Country toward an amazing new future.

The Taylor Swfit tracks just keep pouring out from her sophomore album "Fearless" due out November 11th! Current single "Love Story" has proven that she has the potential to crossover into mainstream already raeching #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Like I've mentioned Taylor has made a deal with iTunes to countdown her album release. Which will provide us with three pre-release tracks before the album drops. Here we have an exclusive pre-release track from the new album titled "Something In Your Mouth". Besides the interesting title & lyrics the song is actually not that bad. Paramore - Decode + I Caught Myself
While Paramore has been keeping busy touring the world they have found time record two new songs for upcoming film "Twilight" set to hit theaters on November 21st!! Both will be featured in the film and on the motion picture soundtrack to be released on the 4th! "Decode" will be the lead single for the novel-based film and the video is set to premiere later on today. It's great to hear some new tracks from them and I'm looking foward to the film aswell. Angelina Jolie Does British ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ Magazine

Angelina Jolie is lookin’ absolutely gorge on the cover of the December issue of British Harper’s Bazaar magazine which hits newsstands later this week in the UK … check it out:

Thus far, no portions of the interview nor any other photos from the mag’s photospread are available and it’s unclear when the coverphoto was shot. She does look pretty spectacular on this magazine cover (which is a far cry from some of her previous magazine covers which weren’t that flattering, IMHO) and I’m anxious to see more. In the meantime, this is a great tease. What do y’all think … doesn’t she look good?

Here are a couple of ADORABLE pics of Jessica Alba walking hand-in-hand with her hot (and bearded) hubby Cash Warren as she toted her only begotten child Honor Marie all bundled snug in her baby carrier on the streets of NYC this weekend. You will note, much to y’all surprise I’m sure, that Jessica looks unmiserable, is smiling and actually looks … wait for it … happy — behold:

It’s a rare sight to see Jessica not scowling with misery and actually looking happy and contented with life. I guess even the usually glower-faced Jessica can’t hide the happiness brought into her life by her new husband and her baby girl all the time. These three really make a pretty family … and Honor Marie is already growing so big! Glad to see them lookin’ so happy … hopefully we’ll get to see more of it.
